Under the EU–Turkey customs union, industrial goods with an A.TR certificate enter Germany free of customs duty; import VAT is still due. Agricultural and food products follow different rules, which we check before shipping. The importer needs an EORI number, and goods in transit under customs control travel on a T1 document. We handle the export declaration in Turkey and import clearance in Germany; with DDP the goods arrive already cleared.
