PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

1. Data Controller
This notice has been prepared by Edora Global Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Edora” or the “Company”) in its capacity as data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).

Personal data you submit to our Company by completing the quote or contact form on our website is processed within the framework described below.
2. Personal Data Processed
The following personal data provided by you through the quote form is processed:
- Identity data: First name, last name
- Contact data: Phone number, email address
- Customer and transaction data: Company name, country of loading, country of delivery, cargo type, weight, volume, preferred Incoterm and the content of your message
Only the data you enter in the form is processed. Our Company does not request or collect special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometric data and similar) through this form.
3. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Preparing and submitting a price quote for the logistics, transport or customs services you request,
- Evaluating your request and contacting you,
- Operational planning and customer relationship management within a potential commercial relationship,
- Following up requests and complaints and improving service quality,
- Fulfilling obligations arising from applicable legislation.
4. Transfer of Personal Data
Limited to the purposes set out above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be shared with:
- Our business partners, suppliers, carriers, agents and customs brokers where necessary for the performance of the service,
- Competent public authorities within the scope of legal obligations.
Given the nature of international transport operations, where necessary your data may be transferred to business partners abroad in accordance with the conditions set out in the KVKK. Your data is not otherwise shared with third parties and is not sold for marketing purposes.
5. Method of Collection and Legal Grounds
Your personal data is collected electronically when you complete the quote or contact form on our website. The processing activity is based on the following legal grounds:
- Being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c),
- Processing being necessary for the legitimate interests of our Company (KVKK art. 5/2-f),
- Your explicit consent where required (KVKK art. 5/1).
6. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation and retention periods set out in applicable legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. If your quote request does not result in a commercial relationship, your data is destroyed within a reasonable period.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject (KVKK art. 11)
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to our Company you have the right to:
a) learn whether your personal data is processed, b) request information if it has been processed, c) learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose, ç) know the third parties to whom the data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad, d) request rectification if the data is processed incompletely or inaccurately, e) request erasure or destruction, f) request that rectification and erasure operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred, g) object to a result against you arising from analysis carried out by automated systems, ğ) request compensation for damages you suffer due to unlawful processing.

You may submit requests relating to the rights above, together with documents evidencing your identity, by email to info@edoraglobal.com or in writing to Sinanoba Mah. Your applications will be concluded free of charge, save for cases where a fee is provided by legislation, within the periods set out in the KVKK and related legislation.
